I began my yoga journey almost 30 years ago. As an RN, I have had the privilege of working with people through out the life span. It was early in my nursing career that I realized that working with the breath, body and mind together helped people including myself to heal more fully. It was then I began my studies into the mind body connection.
As a practicing yoga therapist and holistic nurse, I can combine the qualities of Eastern and Western medicine to create a whole person approach to wellness that addresses the physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing of the practitioner. I bring all of this into the classroom.
My classes are a place of self discovery with space and time for exploration. I work to properly align the body because when the body is in alignment, it strengthens and heals, allowing muscles to become increasingly flexible.
I will be forever grateful for what I have learned through my practice of yoga. It has saved me in so many ways. I am excited to share yoga’s amazing ability to heal.
