Join Lize Keefer at Sadhana Yoga in Wilmington, DE for a great night of yoga and mala bracelet making. We’ll start the evening with an all levels yoga practice, focusing on setting intentions and connecting breath with movement.
After yoga, we will learn about using mala beads and mantras to help calm the mind, and create more peaceful and joyful living. Malas are used to help one focus and keep count while reciting mantras in meditation. You can create your own mantra and meditation practice! The sanskrit word mantra literally means to liberate one’s mind. We will practice using mantras as a way to bring harmony to the mind, body and spirit.
Each person will get to choose their beads and learn how to create your own beautiful, individualized bracelet using your intention. Setting intentions help to create meaning and purpose in everything we do, so that we can bring our best self to the present moment. This bracelet will serve as your reminder to bring purposeful living to all that you do.
Just bring a yoga mat and a friend! All beading materials will be provided. Light snacks and wine will be served.
