Part 1: The Eight Limbs of Yoga
Begin with a simple, beginner level yoga class centered around the Eight Limbs of Yoga, offering a holistic experience that goes beyond the physical postures. You'll explore the foundational principles of yoga—such as ethical guidelines, breath control, and meditation—while engaging in a vinyasa class designed to restore balance and cultivate inner awareness.
Part 2: Bringing Yoga & Mindfulness to the Classroom or family room.
In the second half, we’ll shift focus to the practical application of yoga in the classroom or family setting. Discover kid-friendly yoga poses, mindfulness exercises, and simple breathing techniques that can be seamlessly integrated into your daily routine. Learn how to create moments of stillness, emotional regulation, and focused attention to support a child’s well-being and enhance classroom culture.
