Did you ever wonder why every “body” looks different in Warrior I? Join Anne as she gives us an overview of the skeletal and muscular system and how they relate to yoga asana. All bodies are different, learn how our range of motion is impacted by these systems. Look beneath the surface of the skin to the bones and muscle groups to understand the complexity of how the body is built. She will explore main regions of the the body including the spine, core, hip, leg, foot and ankle, shoulder, arm, wrist and hand. Anne will give special attention to the pelvis, her area of expertise, and explore the relationship between the pelvic floor and our yoga practice.
