Get a little self-care at Sadhana Yoga with a community acupuncture session, gentle yoga and guided meditation facilitated by licensed acupuncturist Helena Iysenko, L.Ac., and Stephanie Weiner, RYT.
Acupuncture bypasses the mental mind and energetically accesses disharmony that exists within the body. Working with the body’s Prana, or energy, acupuncture complements your yoga practice. In the practice, needles are placed into specific acupuncture points in the body to achieve deep relaxation. Stephanie will begin the workshop with gentle movement followed by relaxation in Savasana with the support of props to help you settle in and release. In Savasana, Helena will place fine needles into specific acupuncture points. During the treatment portion of the workshop, students will rest while the body releases blocks and the nervous system calms. Guided meditation and massage will accompany your acupuncture session. Space is limited. Pre-registration is required.
