During this 90 minute workshop you will:
1. Explore the importance of gratitude to help us feel happier and more spiritually balanced.
2. Define, and discuss gratitude through the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali
3. Practicing tools to help cultivate gratitude
4. Asana practice--opening hearts and creating space
5. Guided meditations
6. EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), aka Tapping. A note on Tapping-
❖EFT, Tapping, is a powerful energy tool that helps reset the brain to release trauma and reprogram positive thoughts, feelings and beliefs. EFT works by tapping on the supposed paths through which “life energy” is believed to flow in the body (meridian points, as referred to by acupuncturist in Chinese medicine) to release blockages. Much like the nadis and chakras in Yoga philosophy, these specific pathways of energy or meridians help balance energy flow to maintain your health. Imbalance of energy flow may result in disease or sickness. Tapping with the fingertips on these meridian points is believed to release the blockage, thus releasing the distress. Although more research is necessary, studies have demonstrated that EFT can be beneficial in controlling anxiety.
